Onazol makes collages, montages and decoupages on most surfaces. Primarily she works on bottles. Although in the past she has worked with her own pictures, she prefers to use the works of the old masters. She uses discarded bottles and pictures from magazines. To Onazol art is fascinating, all kinds of art, from the old masters to the aspiring artists you find in all walks of life. Art takes many different forms to suit diverse tastes, and like all beauty, is in the eyes of the beholder.

Versatility is her watchword, which is why sometimes she mixes the old with the new.  She makes collages and montages that people can recognize and understand (most of the time). When you hold one of her bottles you are taking a journey through art in holding a Chagall, Dali, Manet, Miro, Monet, Picasso, Pisarro, Renoir, Van Gogh, plus numerous others, perhaps an obscure but talented artist unknown to you. How often does a person get a chance to hold so many beautiful works of art at one time?

Each bottle is uniquely handcrafted, named and signed by the artist. Each comes with a list containing the names of the paintings and artists whom the bottle was modeled after. She enjoys the extensive research. It provides a great learning experience, which she passes along to the individuals who purchase her work. Occasionally she is unable to provide detailed information. In that situation it is up to the purchaser to allow their own curiosity to stimulate their search. The artistic representations are very decorative and a great conversation item.
